Client Overview
Indian Combat Sports Academy (ICSA) is a premier place for mixed martial arts and combat sports training. However, despite its solid reputation in the world of mma, the academy's fitness trainer website struggled to attract and convert visitors into clients. In search of a solution, ICSA turned to us to develop a high-performance website that would align with their goals and provide a seamless experience and write complex automations that were expensive to run in a generic no code automation tool like n8n or zapier . They wanted more than just a gym website design, their aim was to create a platform that would help attract new clients and automate internal manual tasks efficiently.
Challenges
- Low Conversion Rates : The outdated design failed to effectively engage users, resulting in missed opportunities for conversion.
- SEO Limitations : Issues such as poor site content, inadequate metadata, unoptimized URLs, weak schema markup, and an incorrect sitemap significantly reduced our visibility on search engines.
- Performance Bottlenecks : Slow loading times and the inability to handle large content files during peak traffic periods led to negative user experiences.
- Manual Processes : Essential tasks, such as checking in members, managing lead statuses, and registering member data, were not automated, which increased operational inefficiencies.
Our Approach
1. User-Centric Website Redesign and Prototype :
- Our team delivered an intuitive and responsive website redesign that effectively showcased ICSA's offerings. We also created an interactive prototype using Figma to visualize the design concepts.
- We conducted extensive A/B testing with the target audience, focusing on optimizing navigation, visuals, and call-to-action placements. This approach led to a remarkable increase in form submissions.
2. SEO Optimization
- We performed comprehensive keyword research and crafted SEO-optimized content to enhance visibility. This included refining metadata, optimizing URL structures, and introducing well-structured sitemaps.
- To further boost organic traffic, we established a consistent blog publishing and developed a custom schema strategy, resulting in increase in organic traffic.
3. Backend Enhancements
- Our team developed efficient Velo backend code to enable seamless API integrations with third-party tools, as well as with the existing internal systems.
- We implemented advanced caching mechanisms to ensure fast load times during high-traffic periods and introduced a Content Delivery Network CDN for enhanced content delivery.
4. Process Automation
- Utilizing AWS Cloud Functions, we automated several internal repetitive tasks through a Node.js application hosted on AWS. This initiative significantly reduced manual intervention and led to cost savings by minimizing reliance on expensive no-code automation tools.
